Canada is seeing Honda create a Civic Hybrid for the first time since 2015. The fuel-guzzling Civic will go into production in the spring of next year; hatchbacks will be made in the US and sedans in Canada. One of the earliest electric cars available was the Honda Civic Hybrid, which debuted here in 2002. Moreover, it had a typical appearance, in contrast to the Toyota Prius. Similar in general design to the hundreds of thousands of other Civic models currently in use, but with a changed grille, new wheels, and an antenna installed on the roof. It was even available with a five-speed shifter at the time.
